San Francisco's leading nonprofits, foundations, and businesses will gather under one roof for an extraordinary chance to meet face-to-face.

Sponsored by the Bently Reserve and Orchard Hotels, A Common Green is a meeting of minds for the Bay Area's environmental communities and leaders, giving them the chance to join their efforts in improving the quality of life for the entire West Coast. The possibilities for new partnerships, projects, and initiatives are endless — but the goal for a greener future is common to all of the participants!

A Common Green will begin in the Bently Reserve's Banking Hall with a showcase of innovative and sustainable designs for the home and office. After the showcase, the Regional Administrator for the EPA’s Region 9, Jared Blumenfeld, will give a lively talk in the Conference Center, followed by Zem Joaquin. The event will be MC'd by Darren Moore, the co-host of of the hit Discovery Planet show Alter Eco. This will be followed by the opportunity to meet the local representatives of forward-thinking organizations. Some of these businesses include:

  1. Bently BioFuels
  2. SF Department of the Environment
  3. BC3
  4. The Energy Foundation
  5. Natural Resources Defense Council

Last year's event was an inspiring success — make sure to join the Bay Area's environmental leaders for this gathering of the Bay Area's greenest businesses!
